This collection was inspired by Germany's Neuschwanstein Castle, the same palace Walt Disney used as the inspiration for his film, "Sleeping Beauty".
Though king by right, Ludwig II was only a king figuratively when Prussian armies conquered German lands in the 1800's. With all of his fortune, Ludwig II designed the castle as not only his home, but also his escape to fantasy. Behind his palace walls he was able to feel as prestigious as his noble lineage claimed him to be. By taking the elements of Ludwig's life, castle architecture and the swan family crest, this cozy collection brings the king's royal fantasy to life. The sketchbook and final presentation are complete with draping, samples, illustrations, technical flats, accessories and prints.
