This collection was inspired by my great grandfather who was born in Mexico City. I took his cultural holiday of "Day of the Dead" and fused this celebration with his own life events. From his love of baseball, Hispanic tradition and charismatic personality, this collection truly fuses his Aztec roots and American upbringing into playful outfits great for any first day of school fiesta! The sketchbook and final presentation boards include mood imagery, print development, technical flats, accessories, samples, exploratory draping, illustrations and trend research.
